Heritage Pointing
UK Nationwide Heritage Pointing
Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar is a lime-based cement-free mortar specially designed for the repair and re-pointing of brick, block and stone walls. Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar contains specialist additives used to maintain workability during repointing works in traditional structures.
Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar is ideal for repair and repointing of the historic structures as it allows the traditional lime pointing finish to be retained. While Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar is strong enough to withstand any weather, the addition of special additives ensures water vapour permeability thus preventing damage caused by damp penetration.
Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar is manufactured in three standard strengths. The Higher Strength mixture has five per cent less water than the medium strength mixes thus allowing for faster application and projection of joints. The Special Purpose Mix has modified working qualities ideal for complex pointing on irregular brickwork or where low water requirements are critical. Customised mixes are available upon request.
Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar has been successfully used on historic structures in the UK for several years. It is being specified more frequently by conservation architects, contractors, states agencies and individual property owners worldwide. Paramount Pointing Contractors are working to introduce Limelite Heritage Pointing Mortar to the Northwest market.
